ISTANBUL TO ANZAC COVE

ANZAC COVE (Turkey) – how privileged we were today to have spent a few hours just cruising these shores.  We got up early and saw the sunrise on another beautiful day, thanks to our brave soldiers who fought for us – after some prayers, the bugler played the last post and it was so serene…..  At 10am we attended a very moving Memorial Service and were fortunate to have in our midst some war veterans, also representatives of the NZ Army, RAAF and RAN.  Our ‘World Cruise Choir’ sang out in gusto and did themselves proud.

Photos above are:  sunrise on ANZAC Cove;  ANZAC Ceremony;  a good turnout at the service;  our Flag.
